wedding present
one of our wedding presents was a gift card for chef's catalog. we've been saving it to find something we really want, but we can never seem to agree on what we want.
until now...we have a pot and a fry pan that's non-stick. i'd rather use our all-clad, but there are just some things that i need to use non-stick with. it seems no matter how much oil or butter i use, eggs still stick to my all-clad. so i keep around some anodized aluminum pans for such occasions. well, those pans are old and really need to be replaced...so i decided to look at chef's for some deals. i found 2 sauce pans, a 1.5 qt and a 4 qt, and a 14" fry pan to replace our old ones...and they look like out all-clad ltd pots we already have...we had about $20 extra we needed to spend, so i also found a knife sharpener. so we spent the entire gift card minus 6 cents! sweetness!
to make things better, we got free shipping and they give 4% back through the igive site i now shop through! so we're getting things we need for free plus giving back to the national stillbirth society! good times!
now we just need to develop those pesky wedding camera's we still have sitting around the house! oh yeah, and the underwater camera we used on our honeymoon! oy vey!
